Mura was diagnosed with terminal cancer in September.

He shared photos and stories about their incredible journey on Facebook, garnering the attention of several media companies around the world, and their story has since gone viral.

The dynamic duo got to meet and play with other Japanese wolf dogs in Victoria before heading back home.
