Former U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama is coming to B.C. in 2019 as part of her book tour.

After a successful 10 city tour, Obama will be making a stop at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver on March 21st, 2019, as part of her Becoming: An Intimate Conversation with Michelle Obama tour.

In her time as the first African American US First Lady and beyond, Michelle Obama has established herself as a powerful advocate for women and girls in the U.S. and around the world.

Her memoir, ‘Becoming’ has quickly shot to the New York Times bestseller list in 2018, and the success of her original book tour prompted her to add several new cities to it.

Besides Vancouver, Obama will also be making stops in Edmonton and Toronto, and a host of cities in the States.

Her book chronicles the experiences that have shaped her, from her childhood in the South Side of Chicago to her residency at the White House.

Obama and Live Nation will be donating a portion of ticket inventory in each market to various charities, schools, and community groups in each city the tour visits.
