Sidney/North Saanich RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in recovering unique items that were stolen from Sidney in a break and enter.
The theft and break and enter occurred earlier this month, and the items stolen are considered very valuable.
Several pieces of unique jewelry, pocket watches, a collection of gold coins, and several South African Krugerrands (which are valued at approximately $1,717 CAD each) were all stolen from the home.
“These items are unconventional and exclusive and will immediately arouse suspicion should they materialize for sale or trade,” says Sidney/North Saanich RCMP in a release.
Anyone with information on the stolen items is asked to call the Sidney/North Saanich RCMP Detachment, or contact Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
