Somebody in this town is $1 million richer – and they don’t even know it!
The winning lottery ticket for the January 3rd, 2018 Lotto 6/49 guaranteed prize draw was purchased in Victoria but is still unclaimed.
And time’s running out for this one lucky (?) individual – they now have until January 3rd, 2019 to claim their $1 million. That’s only a little over 2 weeks!
The winning ticket is an exact match for the 10-digit (18923844-07) Lotto 6/49 Guaranteed Prize Draw.
“All lottery winners have 52 weeks from the draw date printed on their ticket to come forward and claim their prize,” reads a statement from the BC Lottery Corporation.
“BCLC will announce the winner’s name, and the specific retail location where he or she purchased the ticket, after the player comes forward.”
Unclaimed lottery winnings go back into the prize pool for bonus draws.
