The Sült Mine Open Mic Comedy

Mondays are the loveliest day of the week, if you’re into pierogis and comedy! Head to Sült Pierogi Bar and enjoy some great cocktails and awesome food while you watch open mic comedy! They’ve got a very exciting feature act this week, the universally beloved kimchi-enthusiast: Ryan Bangma!

Open Gaming – Japanese Theme Night!

Games themed around Japan. Learn new games with new people – ideal if you just hate reading rules, or can’t get your friends into board games; or just need new opponents.

Always good, light/medium strategy games on offer.  This session the menu is: Machi Koro, Takenoko, Tokaido; Lotus; Sushi Go Party, Samurai and  Trains (Japan maps).

Open Mic at The Mint with Pete and Mo

Showcase your talent, whether it’s music, comedy, dance, spoken word or poetry… you name it! Registration begins at 7:30 p.m. with the showcase starting at 8 p.m. and continuing until 11 p.m. There will be instruments to get some jams going!

Sexuality Salon: Community Talk Show QUEER LOVE

Join Tanille Geib and community members in Victoria’s live talk show and community space all about sexuality at the Victoria Event Centre. The event will bask in knowledge of sexuality with guests who have an intimate connection with the topic of the month.

Learn to Meditate

Join the student meditation community at the UVic Interfaith Chapel! Their core practice is Meditation and Mindful Awareness. These are tools in the development of conscious and compassionate ways of well-being, and of being skillfully present to the complex and stressful reality of our lives. Free. Drop-in when you can. No experience necessary. Simple instruction for a basic mindfulness breath meditation given every time.
