MV Coho ferry out of service for 3 weeks for annual maintenance

Black Ball Ferry Line’s 60-year-old MV Coho ferry, which runs daily between Victoria and Port Angeles, will take its annual maintenance break from Monday through Feb. 6.

While in dry dock, the company will be doing regular maintenance of the vessel such as re-painting.

The Coho’s last sailing from Port Angeles was at 8:20 a.m. The last sailing from Victoria will depart at 10:30 a.m.

Regular service will resume Feb. 7 when the Coho departs Port Angeles at 8:20 a.m. and later from Victoria at 4 p.m.

 

The Coho carries more than 400 thousand passengers between Vancouver Island and Washington State every year. The trip takes 90 minutes.
