Saanich police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man who exposed himself to a woman who was walking her dogs along Swan Creek Park Trail on Thursday.
At roughly 3:45 p.m. the woman said a man approached her and exposed himself to her on the trail near the McKenzie and Interurban Bridge.
The man is described as Caucasian with a mix of Asian or First Nations heritage. At the time he was wearing a dark grey Gore-Tex type rain jacket with a hood and blue jeans.
Police are advising residents to always be “vigilant of your surroundings while walking in trails or hiking alone” and to always carry a cell phone.
