Snow has been falling around the region since about 1 p.m. Sunday and more is expected today which has lead to some closures and delays this morning.

Most of the island remains under snowfall warning with Environment Canada calling for a long period of snowfall with total amounts of 10 to 15 cm.

According to the weather agency, this second disturbance will spread snow to virtually the entire south coast with heaviest amounts falling tonight.
