The 62-year-old pedestrian succumbed to her injuries on Monday morning.
A pedestrian sustained ‘significant’ injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Saturday morning, says Saanich Police.
The incident occurred at around 9 a.m. at Tyndall Ave and Kenmore Rd prompting emergency vehicles to arrive at the scene.
According to Sgt. Julie Fast, the driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.
All roads in the area were closed and police issued an advisory telling people to take an alternate route. The intersection has now been reopened.
There is no word yet on the cause of the incident. Victoria Buzz has reached out to Saanich Police for more information.
