Nanaimo RCMP are seeking the public’s help in the missing person case of a 43-year-old man who has not been seen or heard from since January 4.
Authorities fear for his well being.
Scot Russell Labelle, of no fixed address, was reported missing on February 5 and has missed several scheduled appointments with health care providers.
“Since being reported missing, investigators have conducted numerous inquiries and have visited all locations within the city of Nanaimo that Labelle is known to frequent,” said RCMP in a release.
“None of his associates or care givers have given any indication Labelle was intending to leave Nanaimo.”
Labelle is described as a white male, 5 ft. 7, 160 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He often carries a large backpack and usually wears camouflage clothing.
