Victoria Royals are rocking these jerseys for Saturday’s Pink in the Rink game

Share

Hockey fans will be in for a colourful surprise this Saturday night as the Victoria Royals don special pink jerseys in support of the BC Cancer Foundation at the popular event.

The Pink in the Rink game is always one of the Royals’ biggest nights of the season, and this year’s event includes a silent auction for a limited edition pink jersey as well as a chance to win round-trip flights for two to any regularly-scheduled WestJet destination in North America.

All proceeds will go towards the BC Cancer Foundation, which is working to genomically sequence every single breast cancer patient’s tumour at the time of diagnosis, province-wide.

The Victoria Royals Pink in the Rink night has only gotten bigger and more vibrant since it first started in 2008, so make sure to put on your pinkest gear, draw on some face paint, or even dye your hair to help show your support as the team battles against local rivals, the Vancouver Giants!

Also, don’t forget there’s another chance to meet the team and skate with the players after their rematch game with the Giants on Sunday afternoon, February 24th!
