The West Shore RCMP are seeking public’s assistance in identifying two men who stole an entire ATM machine from a convenience store in Langford February 9th.

After releasing surveillance footage of the theft on Wednesday, police have shared another surveillance video of the incident, showing the thieves from a different angle.

The video shows one man frantically trying to move the ATM on a dolley out of a back door.

The incident took place at approximately 3:48 a.m. at a convenience store located on Happy Valley Road.

The first suspect is seen wearing a baseball cap, jacket, and long pants, and the second suspect is described as wearing a hoodie with the hood up, a winter jacket with possible fur collared hood, and long pants.

A similar incident took place on February 2nd, just after 5:00 a.m., when a convenience store employee on West Shore Parkway reported that a man was hitching a tow wire from his white Ford F150 truck around an ATM.

The suspect then tried to haul the ATM out, but the tow rope snapped in the process. He then drove off, leaving empty handed.

The first surveillance video plus photos of the suspects can be found here.

Anyone with information about these two investigations or can identify any of the suspects is asked to call the West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264 or report it anonymously through Crime Stoppers At 1-800-222-8477.
