To help get your weekend started we have live Disney music to listen to, fundraising bowling to play, eco-minded fashion to see, and more!

Without further ado here are 5 things to do in and around Victoria today.

Dreams Come True

Join Lena Palermo and the Peninsula Singers show chorus for a family friendly night of classic Disney music!

Listen to 90 years of Disney music in 90 minutes from the classics, like Pinocchio, to the contemporary, like Frozen. If you can’t make it today, don’t worry! The Peninsula Singers will be performing all weekend.

  • When: 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Where: Mary Winspear Centre, 2243 Beacon Avenue

Bowl for Kids’ Sake 2019

Head down to Langford Lanes for a night of fundraising, prizes, pizza, and a silent auction!

All proceeds go towards Big Brothers Big Sisters of Victoria. Teams can be between 4 to 8 people, and there is no registration fee but each bowler must raise at least $100. Bowlers are also encouraged to dress up, with prizes being awarded to the group with the best team spirit!

Victoria Eco Fashion Week 2019

Come check out the first ever Victoria Eco Fashion Week!

The event is aimed to create awareness for sustainable, ethical, and fair trade fashion while also promoting local and international eco-fashion designers.

Friday Night Roller Skating in Esquimalt

Indoor roller skating is making a huge comeback on the island! That’s why Esquimalt Parks and Recreation and the Archie Browning Sports Centre are holding roller skate nights every week!

It has been decades since public roller skating has graced the floors of the rec centre, and with the nostalgic resurgence of roller skating hitting Victoria, Esquimalt Parks and Rec has stepped up to fill the void.
