Comox Valley RCMP are looking for four teenage males following an alleged assault on a female student in Courtenay Tuesday morning.

At approximately 8:30 a.m., police were called to a trail area in between Valley View Drive and Valley View Elementary for reports of an assault.

The teenage victim, a student in the Comox Valley school district, described her attackers to officers as teenagers and described them as:

  • One was wearing baggy blue jeans and Vans brand shoes.
  • Another had long blonde hair and black and white checkered shoes.
  • One was wearing brown pants.
  • The last was wearing white shoes with black and white pants.

“This is a busy time of day, lots of people likely travelling to and from the area schools,” said Cst. Monika Terragni of the Comox Valley RCMP.

“We are hoping that someone saw what happened, or even saw a group of teenagers matching the description provided by the victim.”

Anyone with information is asked to call the Comox Valley RCMP at 250-338-1321 and refer to file 2018-7385. Alternatively, you can contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
