A drug trafficking investigation with links to organized crime in the Lower Mainland has resulted in the arrest of one woman and the seizure of significant amounts of drugs in Langford.
Since March, Victoria Police have been investigating a woman who was allegedly trafficking drugs throughout the CRD.
As a result of the drug trafficking investigation, she was arrested on April 5th in the 2800-block of Jacklin Road in Langford.
Subsequently, VicPD and West Shore RCMP executed a search warrant and seized one vehicle and 1,000 individually pre-packaged drugs estimated to be worth $30,000.
The drugs included fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine.
The woman has been released on a Promise to Appear and officers are recommending charges of Possession for the Purposes of Trafficking and Driving While Prohibited.
