Sooke Road is closed in both directions near John Muir Elementary school after a vehicle crashed into a hydro/utility pole.
The incident occurred just after 6 p.m. between Erinan Boulevard and Croce Road.
Motorists are being asked to detour via Grant Road when travelling past John Muir Elementary, or use Maple Ave S to drive around incident.
No details are available on what caused the crash or the status of the injuries.
Utility crews are enroute to repair the pole. BC Hydro is showing no current outages in the area at this time.
