The Victoria Pet Expo is returning next weekend

Calling all animal-lovers!

The Victoria Pet Expo is returning to Pearkes Arena once more, and you and your animal companions are all invited to partake in the fun.

The much-anticipated two-day event is happening next weekend, Saturday, May 4th and Sunday, May 5th and features a wide variety of pet exhibitors, educators, and other activities for pets and their owners alike.

There will also be representatives from Garden City Cat Club Viewing, pet adoption agencies, shopping for everything from a fancy new cat carrier to raw food specialists and family-fun entertainment and hands-on attractions – oh, and you’re welcome to bring your pet along, too! Kids are FREE – face painting, balloon animals, stuffy riders – all raising money for Broken Promises Rescue!

Tickets are still available online, and will be available at the door as well – but don’t wait!

The impressive lineup of fun, educational entertainment includes:

Avid Agility Demonstration – Avid Agility is once again thrilled to be showcasing their dogs at this year’s Pet Expo. They will have some exciting new tricks in store, PLUS the agility demos with music featuring some amazing dogs.

Dachshund Dash – Wiener dog races.. need we say more?! The Pet Expo is going to have their annual (and adorable) races once more, and everyone is welcome to watch! Even if you’re not racing your wiener, you can come help cheer on your favourite fast pup! Do you have a wiener dog? They are still taking registration!

Animal Communicator – Dale McCarthy helps owners connect to what is going on with their pet, and has the ability to communicate with animals by receiving their thoughts. Each pet shares insights that are so fascinating and amusing, that owners are usually laughing and crying during a session.

As if hanging out with a gang of fuzzy friends wasn’t enough of a draw, the first 100 people through the door on Saturday AND on Sunday receive free extra awesome goodie bags – the early bird gets the worm, so to speak.
