Citizens’ Climate Lobby Victoria: Parachutes for the Planet

A colourful display of Parachutes for the Planet will grace the Legislature Lawns as part of CCL’s 2019 Lobbying Days for the climate. Come and see parachutes painted by school children as they express their love and concern for our planet in the face of climate change.

Parachutes are used metaphorically as “safety nets” and when displayed together they transform into powerful messages of strength, hope and communal determination.

There will also be an opportunity to help paint a parachute at the site, and kids can create their own miniature parachute at the CCL table.

  • When: 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Where: BC Legislature Lawn, 501 Belleville Street

Roller Sweat

Join Coach Rage and Beaver in a FUN workout on skates that is guaranteed to make you a better roller skater, regardless of skating discipline!
