Central Saanich Police and the Vancouver Island Major Crimes Unit are investigating an early morning incident on Meadowlark Lane in Brentwood Bay that has reportedly sent three people to hospital with stab wounds.

The incident occurred just after 12:30 a.m. and one home on the street remains cordoned off and surrounded by multiple police officers.
Unconfirmed sources tell Victoria Buzz that one female and two males were stabbed. The suspect fled in a white vehicle and was later arrested on the Trans Canada Highway.
A 4-year-old child was found safe in bed inside the home.
Central Saanich police will be releasing more information at around 10 a.m.
