We shared a video taken by island resident Trevor Sokoloski about 40 km from Campbell River and 20 km away from Rock Bay Marine Park.

Taken from some distance away, the footage shows the lone grizzly bear nibbling on some coarse blade estuary grass.
This week one Victoria Buzz follower, Pamela Plimley Day shared a close-up video of what is believed to be the same bear taking a stroll and eventually answering nature’s call.
The grizzly can be recognized as the same one from the video taken earlier by its predominant scar located on the front of her forehead.
