West Shore RCMP have impounded a 1991 Pontiac Firebird and issued a violation ticket to its driver after a bout of drag racing was observed in View Royal.
Officers witnessed the vehicles drag racing each other and weaving through traffic at high speed near 6 mile Pub on the Island Hwy on Friday, May 3rd.
K-9 officers caught up to the black Pontiac Firebird, which was one of the vehicles involved, and pulled the driver over.
“This driver was issued several violation tickets including one for driving without consideration. The Firebird was also impounded for 7 days due to the dangerous stunt driving behaviour,” said Cst. Saggar of West Shore RCMP.
