Saanich Police searching for missing 13-year-old and 15-year-old boys (UPDATED)

Update:

Two teenage Saanich brothers who were reported missing on May 23rd were located safe later the same day, according to Saanich Police.

The pair are now back at home.

Earlier:

Saanich Police are searching for missing teenage boys, Joseph Brown and Tyson Brown.

15-year-old Joseph and 13-year-old Tyson are are step-brothers who live in different residences.

Both were last seen on Wednesday night just after 10 p.m., according to Sgt. Julie Fast.

“They were last seen leaving the Native Friendship Centre and believed to be headed towards Uptown,” Sgt. Fast told Victoria Buzz.

Police have been in contact with the boys’ parents and foster parents as well as their school during the course of their search.

Their father, Ben A Smith, posted a photo of Joseph and Tyson along with a plea on Facebook asking that anyone who sees Joseph and Tyson contact Saanich Police.
