On Saturday, May 17, Tim Hortons locations across the country will be giving out free donuts to celebrate the chain’s 50th anniversary.
Canadians can receive a special ‘birthday cake donut’ for free – while supplies last. The offer is available for one day only and is limited to one donut per guest.
The flavour of donut is based on the restaurant’s ‘birthday cake timbit’ flavour, which is currently only for retail in the United States.
Tim Hortons was founded at Hamilton, Ontario in 1964 and now has over 4,300 locations in Canada, the United States and the Persian Gulf.
