B.C. Ferries announced the names of the three new ferries this morning and no #cashcow wasn’t one of them.
They are:
- The 1st boat is named Salish Orca. In honour of the Coast Salish people.
- The 2nd new vessel will be named Salish Eagle. The new vessels will operate in the Salish Sea.
- The 3rd ICF will be named Salish Raven. To reflect the West Coast travel experience and culture of BC
There were over 7,000 entries submitted. The winning ferry names were submitted by: Brian Douglas, Pat Burns, and Mark Crawford.
The ferries are being built Poland.
