Saanich Police are asking for assistance from the public to locate two elementary aged students that have not shown up to school this morning in the Gordon Head area of Saanich.
Both youths, aged 8 and 9, were expected to arrive at Torquay Elementary School for the start of classes this morning.
The youths are described as:
Eric – 9 years old, 4’6″ tall, medium build, dark brown hair, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and bright green running shoes and shorts, carrying a brown patterned backpack
Matteo – 8 years old, 4’2″, medium build, brown hair with lighting bolts shaved into the sides, wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt and shorts.
At this time, it is not known why the youths have failed to show up at the school. Numerous police units are in the area attempting to locate the youths.
