Sidney and North Sannich RCMP, are look for a missing Sidney senior woman, after she left her independent care home facility today. The coast guard and search and rescue are assisting with the search.
Police say Myrna Peterson’s departure early this morning was irregular and some of her belongings have been recovered from a beach area in Sidney. Which is why the coast guard was brought in.
A land and water search continues.
