A volunteer for Saanich-Gulf Islands Liberal candidate Tim Kane, mistook the gas pedal for the brake and slammed into the campaign office on Quadra Street Friday afternoon.
There were 7 people in the build at the time of the crash. None of them were injured nor was the driver.
Fire crews aren’t allowing people back in the building due to concerns over its structural integrity.
According to CTV VI, Kane was not in the office at the time of the crash, but arrived shortly after the incident.
