Police looking for 3 suspects after a Langford man was robbed at knife point on Galloping Goose.

West Shore RCMP are currently investigating a robbery that occurred Monday afternoon on the Galloping Goose in Langford.

A 26 year old Langford man was walking on the Galloping Goose trail near Brittany Dr and Kelly Rd in Langford when he was faced by three unknown suspects who demanded his wallet.

In self-defense, the victim punched one of the suspects who in turn, produced an edged weapon and stole the victim’s wallet. The victim was not hurt from the robbery; however he is recovering from a swollen hand, sustained from the punch to his assailant.

The incident occurred around 2:30 pm, October 26th.

West Shore RCMP are looking for three suspects:

5’10 to 6 tall
200 lbs
Caucasian
18-19 years old
Red hair
Hazel eyes
Black hoody
Red flat-brimmed ballcap
Blue jeans

Suspect #2:
5’4 tall
Blue sports jersey
Jeans

“We are looking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed these suspects in that area”, states Cst. Alex Bérubé, spokesperson for the West Shore RCMP Detachment.

“While this appears to be an isolated incident, we encourage trail users to be cautious and travel in pairs.”
