

The final cruise ship of this season, The Star Princess arrived at Ogden Point at 7am this morning, carrying more than 2,500 passengers.
Ian Roberston the CEO of the Greater Victoria Harbour Authority spoke on CFAX this morning, saying “It’s been a remarkable year.” Victoria saw 227 ships and over 533,000 passengers.
Robertson also mentioned of the way cruise ship visitors access the downtown core, with only 23%-24% walking, “We’ve got lots of room to grow and build on that, so we’re continuing to work on that.”
