There is no doubt Christmas is around the corner. Christmas craft fairs are popping up, the Salvation Army bell ringers are out and every second article we seem to put out is Xmas related.

Salmon Run at Goldstream Provincial Park

Experience the annual adaptations of spawning salmon, with a nature tour & hands on dissection of a spawned out salmon.

24th Annual Festival of Trees

BC Children’s Festival of Trees has begun! Every year, Victoria Festival of Trees creates a lush forest of beautifully decorated trees to raise funds for BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. Be sure to see them at The Bay Centre while the Empress undergoes renovations. On from November 18 to January 5

MEC Snowfest

In support of Kidsport of Greater Victoria and Victoria Humane Society

Block Party Festival. Snowfest is a celebration of everything winter related, with or without snow here on the island. Meet with local community groups, clubs and vendors. Ski/Board Waxing by donation, raffle ticket sales, clinics by donation – 100% funds donated. Presentations by legendary ski guide Ken Wylie, free information clinics and workshops, industry leading snow sports exhibitors, community groups and clubs, raffle giveaways and more.
