Over 600 photos were submitted to the 2015 Wildlife-In-Focus Photography province-wide contest and regular Victoria Buzz contributor and local, Colin Franks, took first place!
The photo will be featured in the Spring 2016 AnimalSense magazine
BC SPCA say there were so many great pictures of B.C.’s wild animals making it very difficult for the judges to pick. Participants helped to raise $4,085 for wild animals in need!
Colin’s photo taken in Victoria, showed a Common Merganser duckling “Hitchin’ a Ride” with its mom.
The photo was also featured on Victoria Buzz on May 29th, 2015.
