Get ready Victoria, Environment Canada has issued another storm warning. A Pacific Storm is expected to reach the coast by early Saturday morning, delivering periods of heavy rain and wind.
About 40 to 80 mm of rain is expected and to make it worse, southeast winds up to 80 km/h will develop overnight. Winds will ease Saturday evening when the front moves east of the region.
Once that storm clears, Vancouver Island will see several more storms bring strong winds and heavy rain. Southeast winds can reach up to 70 to 90 km/h with daily rainfall amounts of 40 to 80 mm over parts of the South Coast. Heavier amounts are likely for the west side of Vancouver Island.
