Tonight’s Lighted Ship Parade and Market, as well as the Ogden Point Light Up, are cancelled due to weather. The Truck Light Convoy is still on!
The City of Colwood tells Victoria Buzz the Public Works department is closing Ocean Boulevard to through traffic due to large logs being thrown up onto the road. The combination of King Tides, high winds and storm surges is creating a very dangerous situation. Storm watchers are urged to stay well back from the shoreline as large logs are tossed on the surf.
