Admission by Donation at the Royal BC Museum
- What: A community event giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy the exhibits and galleries – today is the final day to take advantage of the admission by donation to the museum.
- When: Saturday January 9 from 10:00am-5:00pm
- Where: RBC Museum, 675 Belleville Street
Monster X Tour
- What: Big Foot, Rock Star, California Kid, Canadian Tuff Guy, Identity Theft and Skeletor will be taking over Save on Foods Memorial Arena this weekend. Watch these monster trucks compete in racing, wheelie contest, freestyle action and more. You can meet the driver and see the trucks up close at the Autograph Pit Party. Tickets still available here.

Esquimalt Recreation Centre Open House
- What: Something for the entire family from creative arts, sports, fitness and general interest activities. Free demo’s, meet the instructors, enjoy a pancake breakfast and win some awesome prizes.
- When: Saturday January 9 from 8:30am-12:00pm
- Where: Esquimalt Recreation Centre, 527 Fraser Street
4Cats Arts Studio: Family Portrait Workshop
- What: Create a fun, family portrait from polymer clay, mount on a canvas panel to take home. $40 includes 2 adults and 2 children, $5 per extra participant. Register here.

Victoria Grizzlies vs Powell River Kings or Victoria Grizzlies vs Langley Rivermen
- What: Victoria’s Junior A Hockey Team – puck drops at 7pm Friday and 2:00pm Sunday. A few tickets still available here.

Lust Life Jazz Band at The Bengal Lounge
- What: Featured musicians in the 2015 Victoria International JazzFest. Sultry Vocals, infectious grooves and original improvisations create an exciting new concept in modern jazz.
- When: Saturday January 9, show starts 7:30-10:30pm
- Where: The Bengal Lounge, The Empress Hotel
Sunday Series “Drum Summit”
- What: A drum battle with the regions top drums plus a guest rhythm section. featuring Kelby MacNayr, John Lee, Damian Graham, Don Leppard and more. Tickets available between $10-20.
- When: Sunday January 10, showtime 7:00-10:00pm
- Where: Hermanns Jazz Club, 753 View Street
