A fog advisory has been issued for Greater Victoria. Environment Canada says visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero.
Areas of dense fog remain trapped over the Strait of Georgia and in Alberni valley. These areas of fog will persist overnight and remain over (or move back into) areas adjacent to the Strait.
The fog will dissipate tomorrow as the next weather system approaches.
Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
