The family photos found in downtown Victoria’s Centennial Square has been solved! After seeing the Victoria Buzz post, a family member contacted Victoria Police, but before he did, he left a quirky message on the buzz:

“William Switzer checking in. Don’t worry guys, there’s only one William Switzer. We share one mind, several bodies. Now that I’ve seen the article we’ve been reunited with our lost documents and will dispatch the nearest body to retrieve them. Thanks for all your help everyone,” Bill Switzer writes on a Victoria Buzz Facebook post.

Victoria Police have located an album of decades-old family photos and are hoping to reunite them with the family.

According to VicPD tweet, the photos were found in downtown Victoria’s Centennial Square on Dec. 2, 2015.

Along with the photos, there were documents with the name “William Herbert Switzer’ and police believe the photos show his son & grandson.

The latest picture is a graduation photo possibly taken in the last 10 years.

Anyone with information is asked to get in touch with Victoria Police by calling 250-995-7654.

Police have posted the full album of photos to their Flickr account.
