TGIF! Now that the work week is nearing an end, it is time to treat yourself and do some fun things around town. Below are a few events happening around Victoria.

Rogers Hometown Hockey Tour

  • What: Outdoor hockey festival ~ full weekend of free activities, live music, a chance to meet NHL Alumni and much more. Ron MacLean hosting the broadcast of the San Jose Sharks vs the Vancouver Canucks game from the Sportsnet Mobile Studio on Sunday night. Event schedule here.

Victoria Early Spring Home Renovation & Decor Show

  • What: Over 150 exhibits to be seen! Products and services for the exterior to the interior of your home. Many experts on hand for home projects and plans. FREE admission. List of exhibitors here.
  • When: Friday February 26 from 1:00-9:00pm, Saturday February 27 from 9:30am-5:30pm and Sunday February 28 from 10:00am-4:00pm

6th Annual VintAgeous Vintage Fair

  • What: Just a little something for everyone ~ from vintage clothing, accessories, housewares, records, decor and so much more! Items from the turn of the century all the way to the early 1990’s. Roaming Vintage Fashion Show & DJ on site for Friday night. $4 admission. Kids FREE. Event page here.

Health Wellness & Sustainability Festival

  • What: A celebration of all things leading to a healthier body and mind. Learn from local health leaders while exploring the health scene on Vancouver Island. Wounded Warrior Run BC

  • What: Wounded Warriors Canada is a non-profit organization that helps Canadian Forces members who have been wounded or injured in their service to Canada. Currently, their primary focus is on mental health and the staggering impact of PTSD and Operational Stress Injuries. The run will take place over 6 days beginning at Port Hardy and ending in our beautiful city at Saunders Subaru. Run information and live tracking here.

Sooke Seedy Saturday

  • What: This family-friendly day will feature a seed exchange and trading table, a diverse range of seed and plant vendors, local wild harvesters and food artisans, information from local non-profits working to enhance food security and workshops. More details  here.

The HeadWay Health Fair

  • What: A showcase of helpful fitness, health and wellness information. Gain useful tips and practices to be a healthier you. $7 admission, 12 years & younger FREE. More details here.

The Crooked Brothers

  • What: A unique blend of timeless country classic sounds, back porch blues and stomping scrap yard funk, slinky throbbing base lines and growling melodies. Don’t miss this outstanding Winnipeg based band! Tickets $15.
