Victoria are investigating an overnight assault in the 800-block of Burdett Ave.
Cfax reported this morning, that police were on site at “tent city” outside the courthouse since the pre-dawn hours, with police tape around a portion of the camp.
Today VicPD confirmed that one man is in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
There were several areas surrounded with police tape including portions of the camp and a couple of dumpsters.
Officers are still investigating, but believe there is no danger to the public.
The homeless campers at “InTent City” have one week left before they must vacate Victoria’s courthouse lawn – they must leave the area by Feb 25th.
