Here we go again! Environment Canada has issued another wind warning for Greater Victoria this afternoon.
According to the statement, an intensifying low pressure system off the Washington Coast will cross the southern tip of Vancouver Island late this afternoon.
Strong southeast winds near 60 km/h today will shift to southwest by this evening and gust up to 90 km/h over southern sections of Greater Victoria, Southern Gulf Islands, Metro Vancouver, and the Fraser Valley.
Winds will ease overnight as the low weakens and moves into the BC Interior.
