2016 Victoria Harbour Boat Show

  • What: Take a scenic walk along the inner harbour and enjoy the largest in-the-water boat show on the west coast. View hundreds of new and pre-owned boats for sale from 11:00am-6:00pm.
  • Where: Inner Harbour, Downtown Victoria

TGI Food Truck Friday

  • What: Help support Kids Help Phone line from 11:00am-6:00pm. Delicious foods from 10 different trucks will be available.
  • Where: Centennial Square

Spring Blossom Lunch and Admission Special at Butchart Gardens

  • What: Explore the gardens, followed by a two course lunch between 11:30am – 3:00pm. $50/per person + tax; Youth (13-17yrs) $37.30 – includes admission, and your choice appetizer and entree. Reservations 250-652-8222.

Victoria Symphony presents: Cirque de la Symphonie

Free The Fuzz 2016

  • What: For 48hrs Sgt Pat Bryant (CSPD), Cst Sheri Lucas (OBPD) and Cst Lisa Bruschetta (SPD) will camp out on the scaffolding at the Uptown Shopping Centre, in hopes of raising thousands of dollars for the BC Special Olympics. There will be K9 demonstrations, ERT demonstrations and a dunk tank on site, “Free The Fuzz” event is a prelude to the Torch Run that will occur in June 2016.

20th Annual Just for the Halibut Fishing Derby

  • What: Prizes for fish of all sizes, large cash prize for the top three plus bonus draw prizes and hidden weight prizes. Tickets $60/person and are available at Island Outfitters, Pedder Bay Marine or Cheanuh Marina.
  • Where: In a boat on the water!

Eves of Destruction Roller Derby: Battle of the Rock Season Opener

  • What: Watch the derby girls in action at their home season opener. Beer gardens on site, 50/50, door prizes, announcers and an official after party at Logan’s Pub. Tickets $10 in advance at Logan’s Pub and $15 at the door. Kids under 10 FREE. Doors open 5:00pm
  • Where: Archie Browning Arena. 1151 Esquimalt Road

Western Speedway – Night at the Races

  • What: Opening night for the Wilcroc non-wing sprint cars, stock cars, mini stocks, dwarf cars and the Old Timers Racing Association. Grandstands open at 4:30pm.

Walk So Kids Can Talk

  • What: Mental Health Week Awareness. This 5km walk is Canada’s largest for child and youth mental health and well-being.  Raising funds for the Kids Help Phone’s day and night counselling services. Walk information available here, registration opens at 10:00am, walk begins at 11:00am. Stroller and wheelchair accessible.
  • Where: Barefoot Elementary School, 1440 Harrop Road

DM & Company Cut-A-Thon

  • What: Get your haircut & styled all by donation, all proceeds to benefit the Association for Science in Autism Treatment. No appointment needed.
