Tall Tree Music Festival lineup announced, Mother Mother to headline

One of B.C.’s premier music festivals rounds out its lineup with exciting and diverse emerging artists as well as established favorites.

The three-day multiple stage and onsite camping festival is expanding this year with more capacity, vendors, and activities than ever before!

Selling out in 2013 to 2015, Tall Tree Seven is expanding due to interest and demand. Regarded as an integral event in the west coast music industry as well as a leader in community environmental stewardship with the development of the ‘Make Music Now Program’ and its support of the Ancient Forest Alliance.

Today, Port Renfrew’s Tall Tree Music Festival Tall released the 2016 artist lineup. So far 65 acts have been confirmed with more expected in the coming weeks, according to organizers.

The four-day festival at Brown’s Mountain is scheduled for June 30-July 3.

The lineup includes: Mother Mother, Current Swell, Nahko and Medicine for the People, Shad, Hollerado, DJ Dan, jackLNDN, The Dudes, Smalltown DJs, Bear Mountain, Mat The Alien, Fine Times, Adam Marshall, Dirty Radio, Moontricks, Rennie Foster, Andrew Allsgood, Mindil Beach, Kytami, Band of Rascals, Nathan Jonson, Bocce Avocado, Quoia, Weird Party and many more!

“It’s coming up on our seventh Tall Tree this year, and I am continually amazed by the strength of our community that surrounds the event,” comments Mike Hann, Director of Tall Tree Music Festival.

“This year’s lineup is a true representation of where we wanted this small and intimate festival to be seven years ago, and we are truly excited to share this year with both new and returning attendees.”

Early bird tickets have sold out already, but general admission tickets go on sale on Monday, April 11 at 9:30 a.m. at talltreemusicfestival.com.

Tickets start at $165, and camping passes are $60.

The festival is held atop Browns Mountain in Port Renfrew on the West Coast of Vancouver Island.
