Victorious Voices – Victoria’s biggest and highest energy youth poetry and spoken word festival is back for their 7th year! Featuring poets, workshops, special showcases and eight high school poetry slam teams going head-to-head for the City Championship.

To bring the energy from the stage to the page, this year’s festival will offer free spoken word workshops for youth, hosted in collaboration with the Greater Victoria Public Library .

“We’re reaching more youth than ever through a diverse range of partnerships and programming,” explains Festival Director Jeremy Loveday. “This festival is about providing a platform to amplify and celebrate the voices and experiences of young people in our community.”
