Hundreds are expected to gather on the lawn of the BC Legislature to voice their opposition to euthanasia and assisted suicide.
The rally is the 9th annual Victoria March for Life. This year’s theme, “Caring Not Killing,” highlights the need to relieve suffering by caring for patients, not killing them.
They are calling on government to support choices like palliative care.

With the inevitable passage of Bill C-14, Canadians are faced with uncertainty about how this new reality will unfold in their own lives, and the lives of their loved ones,” said Mike Schouten, one of the organizers of the rally.
The rally is one of many across the country today including one in Ottawa that attracts up to 25-thousand people.
