Songhees Seafood & Steam Food Truck: Food + Culture + Community

Share

If you’re looking for a healthy bite to eat, head to the new Songhees Seafood & Steam Truck. Part of the Victoria Buzz team checked out what’s on the menu and we weren’t disappointed.

Good, clean food, with a modern take on Songhees cultural tradition. Victoria’s Chef David Roger, in collaboration with a number of Songhees Nation community members, have built a vast menu with fresh local ingredients that authentically incorporate food preparation embodied by the Songhees.

The real flavour of the natural ingredients shines through in the preparation, and staff are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions. Sit outside on the patio and enjoy a great nourishing meal!
