FRIDAY July 15

Victoria International Buskers Festival

  • What: Opening day of this 10 day Buskers Festival featuring professional street performers from our region, across Canada, Europe, Sweden, Australia, South America and US. FREE event for all to enjoy. Tipping appreciated!
  • Where:
    • Waterfront Stages – Ship Point (2 stages) and Enterprise Lot (by Red Fish/Blue Fish)
    • Around the Town Stages – The Bay Centre and Uptown Shopping Centre
    • Music Stages: Bastion Square and Victoria Public Market at the Hudson.

Beach Food Fridays

Bites, Brews and Bands on the Barge

  • What: Every Friday (excluding July 1st) head to Ogden Point for Victoria’s Finest Food Trucks, alongside fabulous local beer from Phillips, Hoyne, Driftwood as well as local cider from Sea Cider, and take in great local music on the Breakwater Barge. A perfect way to start the weekend! 3pm-9pm.

Victoria Shamrocks

  • What: Victoria Shamrocks vs. Maple Ridge Burrards. Speed Meet Greens night presented by Western Speedway ~ first 500 fans will receive a Western Speedway family pass! Game begins at 7:45pm

SATURDAY July 16

TD Art Gallery Paint-in

  • What: This outdoor venue will take over Fort Street all the way to Dallas Road with over 165 artists demonstrating their work. Food available, live entertainment and hands on art stations. Enjoy this art scene from 10:00am-9:00pm.
  • Where: Moss Street, from Fort Street to Dallas Road

Romp in the Park

  • What: A free outdoor performance of contemporary ballet works from BALLET VICTORIA. 8pm-8:45pm.
  • Where: Cameron Bandshell in Beacon Hill Park

Military Appreciation Night

What: FREE admission for military members with an active military ID card. Featuring the Keg Steakhouse & Bat Late Model Drivers Challenge Twin 50’s, Galaxy Motors Stock Cars, Dwarf Cars and Island Powder Coating IMCA Modifieds.
Where: Western Speedway

TICKETS: $15/adults, $10/youth and senior, $7/kids (7-12yrs), $35/family pass (2 adults, 4 kids), $49/triple 6 special (6 admissions, 6 hotdogs, 6 drinks)

Sooke Show & Shine/Swap & Shop

  • What: All makes and models , including muscle cars, deuces, hot rods and classic cars. There will be entertainment, trophies for peoples choice awards, food concession and plenty of fun things to do.

SUNDAY July 17

Colombia Independence Celebration

  • What: The Colombian Community in Victoria has been growing in the last few years! Celebrate Colombian independence, culture and dance, 4pm-7pm.
  • Where: Centennial Square
