Head to Salt Spring Island this weekend and experience two days of top class entertainment at the one of a kind island flavoured Salt Spring Music & Garlic Festival.
The two day event takes place on the 53-acre Paradise Farm, a beautiful rural location on the south end of Salt Spring Island, which overlooks Fulford Harbour.
Inspired by the Gilroy Garlic Festival in California, the second annual Salt Spring Island Music and Garlic Festival showcases music and farming, with a small plant featuring as the star – garlic.
Over two-dozen farm vendors will be on site selling organic produce, including over a dozen varieties of locally produced Salt Spring garlic. Music performances includes: The Odds, Valdy and the Hometown Band, Jesse Roper, Jon and Roy, Carmanah, Daniel Lapp and more.
BC Ferries will run an additional sailing on Saturday August 6 and Sunday August 7, 2016 at 9:40 PM from Fulford Harbour to Swartz Bay.
