Croc shoes are being blamed for a car crashing into the Quiznos in the 2900-block of Douglas Street this morning.
Victoria Police say the driver, a woman in her 60s, was in the process of parking, when her shoe got caught under the gas pedal, causing the vehicle to accelerate and jump the curb.
The vehicle hit a support post and broke the Quizno’s storefront window.
There were no injuries. Victoria police are reminding drivers to wear proper footwear when driving.
No injuries in vehicle into a building collision. Driver's "croc" got caught on her pedals. No tickets, despite fashion law violation.
