On Sunday, around 9:40pm, a lone male suspect robbed the Subway on Wilkinson road.
The man, who had been in the store earlier, walked up to an employee and produced a handgun. He then demanded money and, after receiving an undisclosed amount, fled the store.
He was last seen running towards Interurban Rd.
The suspect is described as:
- white male
- in his early 20’s
- shorter than 6 feet tall
- medium to stocky build
- with a round face
- brown/blonde hair
- clean shaven
- wearing a black baseball cap, green full sleeved shirt and dark coloured jeans
“Right now Detectives from our Major Crime Unit are working with Officers from both our Patrol Section and Forensic Identification Section in an attempt to identify and locate this suspect.” A/Sgt. Jereme Leslie said. “Our Detectives are asking that if you have any information about this robbery or was in the Subway between 8:45 PM – 9:40 PM to contact us.”
