A downtown intersection was closed Sunday night after a cab collided with a black BMW, causing the vehicle to burst into flames.
A black BMW was t-boned by a Yellow Cab, at the intersection of Douglas at Caledonia around 9:30 p.m.
The impact from the collision sent the BMW into a utility pole, and moments later the vehicle burst into flames.
Police were on the scene quickly and closed the intersection as fire crews doused the flames before it could do any damage to a nearby building.
The investigation is ongoing, it is unclear who was at fault.
One person suffered non-life threatening injuries.
