Two Saanich men are facing a number of charges after a police operation at a suspected drug house in Saanich.

Police launched an investigation earlier this month at a home in the 3000 block of Bodega Rd.

Last Thursday, Saanich police and the Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant at the home and arrested one suspect inside the residence. The other suspect was arrested in the parking lot of University Heights Mall.

They seized cocaine, hashish, crack cocaine, marijuana, crystal meth and a number of weapons inside the home.

43-year-old Eric Hartley of Saanich was held in custody.  Police have recommended several drug and weapons related charges.

The other suspect, a 34-year-old Saanich man who is known to police was released at the time.

Both men are set to appear in court next month.
